Well, that didn't take long, after setting up the account last night I stumbled around looking through the vast collections of stock photos. That got the juices flowing and I ended up with "Crumble" by the next morning.

It's the start of a transition from the novelty/photorealistic stuff I've been doing towards some more abstract/thematic ideas I'm cultivating. This could get very interesting if I can keep the payed/freelance workload at bay.

As a longtime worth1000 member I've had an eye to get over here and work on some more freeform ideas that have been sprouting. I really dig the accessibility of stock imagery available from fellow deviants, incorporating all this terrific raw material into various themes has got me excited.

I've posted a couple of my favorite pieces from w1k assignment-based contests and I'll probably get a some more past work up soon. In the meantime I'll be working on some new stuff outside my usual realm and checking out the tons of great work around here.

Hope to run into some of you along the way! :)
